Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardly scores with a nice right hand.
Wright swings widly with a right hand
and Hardly counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hardly lands a jab.
Hardly smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A head kick misses from Hardly.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wright darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A head kick from Wright lands but Hardly takes it in his stride.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wright gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Wright misses with a knee strike.
Wright tries to land a knee to the head but Hardly blocks with his arms.
Wright tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hardly just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hardly has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wright avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Wright misses with a hook from the clinch.
Wright blocks an elbow strike.
Wright stalling in the clinch but Hardly improves position.
Wright wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hardly has him pressed against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hardly scores with a nice hook to the head.
Hardly lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Wright working aggressively here.
Wright breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice body kick there by Wright.
Hardly throws a shot to the body.
Wright connects with a body shot.
Hardly dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wright is breathing heavily.
Wright misses with a head kick.
Hardly slips a jab from Wright.
Wright uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hardly.
Wright swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hardly avoids a kick to the body.
Wright misses with a low kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hardly fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wright on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hardly. Hardly obviously looking to wear him down.
Wright avoids the head kick by Hardly.
Hardly lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Wright sprawling to the canvas. Hardly follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Wright hang on?
Wright is rocked!
Hardly drops an elbow to the side of Wright's head.
Oh Wright is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardly wants to take a breather but Wright is having none of it.
Hardly lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Wright! More strikes land and this one is all over! Hardly jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Hardly!
A relieved looking Dan Hardly thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
