Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Norland Cinis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akira Sendoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Norland Cinis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akira Sendoh! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sendoh drops Cinis with a beautiful combination! Cinis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sendoh is looking for the KO! Sendoh shoots in for a double leg but Cinis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sendoh fails in his attempt to clinch. Cinis shoots in but no luck this time. Sendoh misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sendoh shoots in but Cinis avoids the takedown attempt easily. Sendoh misses with a double jab.
Sendoh throws a right and a left that Cinis avoids nicely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cinis tries to close the distance and clinch but Sendoh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cinis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sendoh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cinis moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sendoh throws a combination that misses and Cinis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Sendoh throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Cinis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Cinis fails in his attempt to clinch. Sendoh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cinis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sendoh somewhat. Norland Cinis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akira Sendoh. Sendoh looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sendoh tries to clinch and Cinis counters by moving into the clinch. Cinis is trying to stall.
Cinis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cinis throws a combination. Sendoh tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Cinis lands with a nice body punch. Cinis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sendoh as he jumps to the side. Sendoh throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cinis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cinis. Sendoh breaks from the clinch.
Sendoh throws a combination that misses and Cinis counters with a left to the body. Sendoh throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Sendoh blocks a head kick by Cinis.
Cinis shoots in looking for a takedown but Sendoh manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cinis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sendoh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cinis misses with a takedown attempt - Sendoh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sendoh fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Sendoh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cinis has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Cinis slips a straight right by Sendoh. Sendoh tries to clinch up. Sendoh throws a series of punches but Cinis moves out of range. A head kick misses from Cinis. Cinis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Akira Sendoh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sendoh stalks Cinis and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cinis's face. Cinis staggers backwards, shaken. Sloppy strikes from Sendoh. Those never looked like landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Cinis. No joy for Sendoh on that attempt. Sendoh falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cinis counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Sendoh works over Cinis's head and body with a nice combination. Horrible takedown by Cinis or perhaps it was just good defense by Sendoh which made him look bad. Sendoh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cinis circles away quickly and effectively. Sendoh lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cinis has Sendoh up against the cage in a clinch.
Cinis tries to pull guard but Sendoh won't allow it.
Sendoh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sendoh throws a right and a left that Cinis avoids nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cinis blocks a jab. Cinis throws the kick towards the body but Sendoh avoids it. A combination from Sendoh does no damage. Sendoh takes the fight into the clinch. Sendoh on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sendoh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sendoh fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Cinis throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sendoh misses with a wild combination.
Sendoh stuffs the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Akira Sendoh dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Cinis holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Sendoh prevents Cinis from breaking the clinch. Cinis tries to pull guard but Sendoh won't allow it.
Cinis is trying to drag Sendoh to the mat but Sendoh just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Sendoh breaks from the clinch.
Cinis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sendoh pinned against the cage. Sendoh gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Norland Cinis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cinis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sendoh. Sendoh scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sendoh shoots in for a double leg but Cinis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sendoh. Cinis dodges the punch combination from Sendoh.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cinis. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Cinis clinches up against the cage. Cinis goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sendoh prevents it.
Sendoh misses with a knee strike.
Cinis is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Sendoh goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Cinis looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Sendoh tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cinis's elbow. Sendoh throws a knee to the head but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cinis drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Cinis taking a breather. Sendoh lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. A short right from Sendoh. Cinis decides to pull guard. Sendoh has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cinis is proving hard to escape from. Cinis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cinis thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Sendoh tries to stand but Cinis is controlling from the bottom. Sendoh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Akira Sendoh wasn't active enough on the ground. Sendoh misses with a hook. Cinis ducked under it nicely. Cinis dives in and grabs Sendoh's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sendoh pushes down on Cinis's head and hops out. Sendoh works over Cinis's head and body with a nice combination. Sendoh misses with a two punch combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sendoh uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cinis has time to react. Sendoh shoots in for a takedown but Cinis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sendoh throws a big shot that misses. Sendoh fails in his attempt to clinch. Cinis lands with a nice body punch. Nice body punch from Cinis. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sendoh scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Sendoh misses with a few strikes there.

Sendoh misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sendoh displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cinis. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Akira Sendoh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Sendoh throws a series of punches but Cinis moves out of range. A punch combination from Sendoh misses. Sendoh takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cinis dodges the punch combination from Sendoh.

Sendoh stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sendoh wants it to stay on the feet. Akira Sendoh seems to be getting the better of the standup. Cinis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sendoh but Sendoh pushes him off and we're back to square one. Cinis is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sendoh. Sendoh throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cinis counters with a head kick. That will keep Sendoh thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Sendoh falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sendoh takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cinis fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Sendoh looks to land a combination but Cinis avoids it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cinis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sendoh looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cinis fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sendoh lands a jab-cross combination. Sendoh goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Sendoh misses with a double jab.
Sendoh throws a series of punches but Cinis moves out of range. Nice sprawl there from Sendoh as Cinis shoots in. Cinis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sendoh swivels and escapes. Sendoh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sendoh displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cinis. Sendoh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that's the end of the fight! Akira Sendoh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sendoh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
