Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Shardlow!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haas steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shardlow.
Haas shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Haas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shardlow moves in looking to clinch but Haas pushes him off.
Haas tries a head kick but it misses.
Shardlow fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shardlow attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Haas has closed the distance and engaged Shardlow in a clinch.

Haas has clasped his hands together around Shardlow's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Shardlow wants to get back to his feet but Haas drags him back down.

Haas has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Haas has a takedown stuffed.
Haas checks a leg kick.
Shardlow throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Haas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Haas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Haas tries to clinch up
and Shardlow counters with an inside leg kick.
Shardlow misses with a head kick.
Shardlow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Haas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shardlow's waist but Shardlow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Haas off to one side.
Haas shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Shardlow counters with a nice leg kick.
Shardlow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shardlow lands with a kick to the temple. Haas shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Jack Haas has been cut.

Shardlow clinches with his opponent.
Shardlow gets underhooks to prevent Haas's takedown attempt.
Haas jumps guard but Shardlow stands there with Haas around his waist. Haas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Haas tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Shardlow smiles and moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shardlow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Haas clinches but Shardlow breaks the clinch
and Shardlow counters with a nice body kick.
Shardlow keeps Haas at a distance using the push kick.
Haas is breathing heavily.
Shardlow lands a nice leg kick that just misses Haas's sensitive parts.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shardlow feints and then cracks Haas's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Haas down.
Shardlow fakes the leg kick and cracks Haas in the body.

Shardlow gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Shardlow lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Shardlow manages to break the clinch.

Shardlow clinches with his opponent.

Shardlow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Shardlow! Haas is out on his feet! Shardlow rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Haas is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Haas is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
