The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Celebrator throws a leg kick but Carter sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Celebrator lands with a kick to the temple. Carter shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Chris Carter has been cut.
Carter dives in and grabs Celebrator's left leg, looking for a takedown. Celebrator pushes down on Carter's head and hops out.
Celebrator throws a low kick, looking for Carter's leg but Carter calmly moves out of range.
Carter throws a hook to the side of Celebrator's head but Celebrator sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Carter fails with a takedown attempt.
Carter tries for a takedown but Celebrator circles away easily
and Celebrator counters with a slapping leg kick.
Ayinger Celebrator has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Carter.
Celebrator displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Carter.
Carter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Celebrator is looking to slow Carter down with leg kicks.
Carter misses with a takedown attempt - Celebrator sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chris Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carter scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Celebrator tries to bench press Carter off him but Carter keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carter is looking to take a break and control but Celebrator is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Carter thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Carter working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Carter is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Celebrator knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Carter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Celebrator, who protects the arm well.
Celebrator can't do much from the bottom here.

Carter swings around for an armbar but Celebrator sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Carter's guard.

Carter has his foot on Celebrator's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Celebrator works his way back into a safe position though.
Carter seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Celebrator wants to pass the guard but Carter is keeping the position.

Celebrator is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Carter has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Celebrator is looking to defend but Carter has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Celebrator! Carter pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Celebrator taps out and this one is all over!
