Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genesuis Silverkush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ken Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Genesuis Silverkush!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silverkush pushes Hall up against the cage in a clinch.
Silverkush has had enough of the clinch but Hall keeps him there for the moment.

Hall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hall wants the takedown. Silverkush is fighting it off but Hall persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Silverkush's guard against the cage.

Hall throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silverkush works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hall advances position into side control!
Hall sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Silverkush is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Silverkush tries to escape but Hall is in control.
Silverkush tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Hall passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Silverkush!
Hall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hall lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

BOOM! Hall connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Silverkush can't escape the position.
Hall lands a big shot there that rocks Silverkush but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The referee warns Silverkush that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Silverkush is trying desperately to improve position.

BOOM! Hall connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Silverkush is in a horrible position here. Hall smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Silverkush wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Hall lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Hall has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Silverkush.
Silverkush is trying to get back to his feet but Hall has full control of the position and if anything, Silverkush has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Silverkush is trapped and Hall is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Hall is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Silverkush up.
Hall is working the ground and pound. Can Silverkush escape?
Silverkush is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Hall lands shots from the back.

Hall is persistently looking for the submission but Silverkush is defending it well.
Hall is trying to stick to Silverkush's back but Silverkush is turning into Hall. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hall's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Silverkush.
Hall lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Silverkush!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hall will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silverkush is fending him off so far but Hall persists. Nope, Silverkush circles away and we're back to standing.

Silverkush has closed the distance and engaged Hall in a clinch.
Silverkush is looking to break free of the clinch but Hall has double underhooks.
Silverkush is breathing heavily.
Silverkush tries to break the clinch but Hall is controlling the position.
Hall drops down looking for an ankle pick but Silverkush pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hall shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silverkush as he jumps to the side.

Hall shoots in but no luck this time.
Silverkush pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hall tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Silverkush counters with a series of strikes. Hall will be more careful next time no doubt.
Hall fails with an attempt to clinch.
No joy there for Silverkush, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hall gets a clinch.
Silverkush is trying to break the clinch but Hall has him pressed against the cage.

Hall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hall tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silverkush swivels and escapes.
Hall throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silverkush's waist but Silverkush gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hall off to one side.

Silverkush is trying to buck Hall off.
Hall wants to control but Silverkush is keeping him busy.
Silverkush is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hall is controlling him well.

Hall is looking to take a break and control but Silverkush is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Silverkush sneaks out the side door and pushes Hall away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Silverkush keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Hall closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hall lands in his opponent's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hall takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Hall stops Silverkush from getting back to his feet.

Silverkush tries to improve position but can't.

Silverkush bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

The fight stays on the outside here - Hall looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silverkush tries a knee to the head but Hall blocks it.

Silverkush throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hall blocks it with crossed arms.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Silverkush breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silverkush pinned against the cage. Silverkush gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Silverkush tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hall smiles and moves away.
Hall tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silverkush swivels and escapes.

Hall shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hall showed some decent athleticism there.
Silverkush slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silverkush tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ken Hall will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Silverkush rushes Hall and presses him up against the cage.

Hall pulls guard successfully.

Hall has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Silverkush off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Hall shoots in for a double leg but Silverkush sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Hall bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silverkush keeps working.
Hall scores with a couple of short elbows.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hall tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hall has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silverkush managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hall.

Hall is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Silverkush looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hall gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Silverkush is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hall lets go of the hold and Silverkush can pop his arm back in it's socket.
