Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simo Silmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razzil Darkbrew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Razzil Darkbrew has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Simo Silmu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Razzil Darkbrew!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silmu shoots in for a takedown but Darkbrew shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Silmu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Silmu lands in his opponent's guard.
Silmu trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Silmu wants to control from the top but Darkbrew keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Silmu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Darkbrew sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silmu somewhat.
Darkbrew darts in and clinches Silmu up against the ropes.

Darkbrew pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Silmu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Darkbrew tries to avoid it but Silmu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Darkbrew to the ground. Darkbrew escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Simo Silmu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Darkbrew misses with a leg kick.
Silmu tries for a takedown but Darkbrew sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Darkbrew tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Darkbrew takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Razzil Darkbrew.
Darkbrew forces Silmu back against the ropes and clinches.
Darkbrew escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The cut man is working on Simo Silmu's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Darkbrew darts in and clinches Silmu up against the ropes.
Darkbrew throws a knee to the head but misses.

Darkbrew lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Silmu has Darkbrew pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Darkbrew manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
