Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cross Odenkirk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Muraki Tunamoto! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Odenkirk closes the distance and pushes Tunamoto back into the cage. Odenkirk drags the fight down to the ground.
Tunamoto pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Odenkirk is keeping the position for now. Odenkirk has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Odenkirk wants to sweep but no luck.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Tunamoto takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Odenkirk. Odenkirk tries to bum rush Tunamoto with a series of wild strikes but Tunamoto uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tunamoto swats away the attempt to clinch by Odenkirk. Muraki Tunamoto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Odenkirk instigates a clinch. Odenkirk misses with a punch to the body.

Odenkirk looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Tunamoto throws an elbow that misses.
Odenkirk takes an elbow to the temple. Tunamoto with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Tunamoto tries to land a knee to the head but Odenkirk blocks with his arms.
Odenkirk tries to break free but Tunamoto pushes him back against the cage. Odenkirk manages to pull guard.
Odenkirk pulls Tunamoto in to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tunamoto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Odenkirk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cross Odenkirk has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Tunamoto keeps the fight on the outside. Tunamoto scores with a head kick.
Odenkirk instigates a clinch. Tunamoto tries a knee to the head but Odenkirk blocks it.
Odenkirk presses Tunamoto against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Tunamoto just misses with a elbow thrown towards Odenkirk's brow. Odenkirk stalling the fight.
Odenkirk avoiding damage as Tunamoto throws knees to the body.
Odenkirk blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Odenkirk lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Tunamoto backwards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tunamoto pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Odenkirk is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Tunamoto is keeping busy. A nice glancing elbow lands by Tunamoto. Odenkirk goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tunamoto prevents it.
Tunamoto misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Odenkirk.
Odenkirk has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Tunamoto is trying to keep an underhook but Odenkirk manages to get the takedown into half guard. Tunamoto has hold of Odenkirk's hands but Odenkirk slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Tunamoto is trying to get back to full guard. Tunamoto pushes Odenkirk off looking to stand but Odenkirk dives back in and keeps control.
Odenkirk moves nicely into side control. Odenkirk working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Odenkirk lands a few punches from side control. Odenkirk has hold of Tunamoto's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Tunamoto seems comfortable defending it but Odenkirk has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Tunamoto is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Tunamoto is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Odenkirk couldn't care less - he's delighted!
