The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stanfield as he avoids it easily.
Stanfield jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Stanfield lands a jab to the head.
Stanfield throws a jab when Miller was well out of range.
Miller is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Miller tries to clinch up but Stanfield circles away and keeps his distance.
Stanfield lands with a good body shot.
Miller misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stanfield throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Miller sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Miller lands a high kick!
Stanfield keeps the fight on the outside.
Miller throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Stanfield looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Stanfield takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miller moves to clinch but Stanfield breaks away
and Stanfield counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Miller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stanfield lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Cody A Miller has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Miller takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A jab from Stanfield does it's job there.
Miller is rocked!
Cody A Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stanfield sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Miller's defenses. It connects perfectly with Miller's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
