Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Storm Aurelius!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Rolla!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolla throws a right and a left that Aurelius avoids nicely.
Rolla tries to clinch there but Aurelius circles away.
Rolla tries to clinch up.
Aurelius avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rolla moves into the clinch.
Aurelius keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rolla's efforts to push away.
Rolla avoiding damage.
Rolla tries to pull guard but Aurelius won't allow it.
Rolla drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rolla is working for takedown but Aurelius is calmly controlling the position for now.
Storm Aurelius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Rolla.
Aurelius is trying to trip Rolla. He has hold of a leg but Rolla is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Aurelius persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Aurelius drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Aurelius jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Aurelius trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Rolla manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Aurelius pushes Rolla off and scrambles back to his feet.
Aurelius looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rolla is fending him off so far but Aurelius persists. Nope, Rolla circles away and we're back to standing.
Rolla fails with the takedown.
Rolla throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rolla throws a series of punches but Aurelius moves out of range.
Rolla fails to land with a series of punches.
Aurelius darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Aurelius seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Rolla is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
