Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manu Manu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manu Manu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Washington! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Washington gets caught flat footed, as Manu shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Manu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Washington works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Washington can do anything to dispel that myth. Manu engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Washington looking to hit a scissor sweep but Manu is one step ahead there. Manu stays in close to Washington's body and controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Manu Manu just wasn't active enough. Manu moves away from the strike by Washington.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Washington.
Washington jabbing away but nothing is landing. Washington misses with a series of wild punches.
Washington fails in his attempt to clinch. Washington lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Manu Manu has been cut. Washington gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Manu counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Manu postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Manu sitting in guard, not really doing much. Manu landing with the ground and pound. Manu working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Washington is striking from the bottom but Manu uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Manu winds up and cracks Washington with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Manu is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Washington! Manu controlling from mount. Washington is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Manu landing strikes from the mount and Washington is in trouble! Manu has hold of Washington's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Washington manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Manu is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Washington has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Washington is desperately trying to improve his position but Manu has a good base and remains in mount. Manu sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Manu with good strikes from the mount here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Washington is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Manu looking to control and managing it successfully. Manu in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Washington can't escape the position.

Manu Manu dominated that round. The cut man is working on Manu Manu's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Manu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Manu moves into range and clinches up with Washington. Manu gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Washington regains guard.
Manu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Manu stands and throws Washington's legs to the side, diving into side control. Manu controlling the position from side mount. Washington tries to improve position but can't. Washington seems a little lost for a moment, as Manu dominates the positioning. Manu has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. The fight stays on the outside here - Washington looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Manu Manu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manu clinches up with Washington and pushes him back against the cage. Washington is trying to force a seperation but Manu has the dominant position. Manu successfully pulls guard.
Manu lands an upkick as Washington stands over him. Manu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Manu working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Manu drops an elbow to the side of Washington's head. Manu seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Manu trying to control the pace. Manu passes to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Washington is letting Manu control him for a moment. Manu in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Manu decides to stand back up. Manu misses with a few strikes there.
Manu gets the takedown into side control. Washington is trying to improve his position. Manu Manu overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Washington is breathing heavily. Manu controlling from side mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manu is chipping away with strikes.
Manu advances nicely into full mount. Manu controlling from the full mount. Manu get's back to his feet. Manu has managed to clinch.
Manu is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Washington can't fight it off and eventually Manu manages to take the fight to the floor. Washington looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Washington really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Manu engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Manu preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Manu works a leg free and moves into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Manu is working for a kimura but Washington is defending it quite comfortably.

Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Washington gets tackled into the cage by Manu. Manu maintains the clinch. Washington throws a head punch that misses. Manu is working for takedown but Washington is calmly controlling the position for now. Washington is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Manu is keeping busy. Manu wants a takedown but no success here.
Manu keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Washington's efforts to push away. Washington looks to throw an elbow but misses. Washington tries to pull guard but Manu won't allow it.
Manu just leaning against Washington, taking a breather. Manu blocks a body shot from Washington.

Washington wants to control from the top but Manu keeps moving. Manu lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Washington! Manu looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Manu looking to control and managing it successfully. Manu is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Washington to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Washington shrugs it off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Manu looking to control and managing it successfully. Washington tries to lock up and control but Manu gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Manu is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Washington is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Washington flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Manu anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Washington and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Manu slips an arm under Washington chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Manu has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Manu is squeezing on Washington like an anaconda would it's prey. Washington fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Manu Manu!
