Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergio Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin stuffs the takedown attempt from Lesnar. Lesnar gets slowly back to his feet. Griffin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Griffin is defending well but Lesnar drives through and ends up in Griffin's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lesnar's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Griffin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lesnar scrambles back to his feet. Lesnar throws a shot from downtown. Griffin moves away and avoids it. Lesnar throws a lazy right hand but Griffin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Griffin with a nice cross. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lesnar manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Griffin on his heels. He'll look to pass Griffin's guard now, I'm sure. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesnar stopping the sweep attempt from Griffin. Lesnar throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesnar has gone for a leg lock! Griffin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lesnar's guard. Lesnar looking to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Griffin can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lesnar goes for an armbar but Griffin turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Griffin. Lesnar wants to sweep here but Griffin controlling him for the moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Griffin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lesnar moves away. Shane Griffin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Griffin lands a two punch combo.

Griffin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lesnar eats them both and turns towards Griffin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shane Griffin. I think Lesnar has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
