Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alberto Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benton Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez comes to the cage accompanied by Apeman. Styles comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rocky Remix kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styles loads up on a big right hand but Lopez slips the punch.
Styles attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Lopez showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Styles.
Styles stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lopez.
Good standup being displayed there by Lopez as he connects with a hook.
Alberto Lopez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lopez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Styles on the side of the head.
Lopez throws a hook but Styles avoids it easily.
Styles pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Styles takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Styles fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lopez has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Lopez tries to clinch up but Styles circles away and keeps his distance.

No joy there for Lopez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lopez throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Lopez avoids the head kick by Styles.
A looping hook to the body misses from Styles. Lopez does a little dance to reset his feet.

Styles throws a hook to the side of Lopez's head but Lopez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Styles takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
It looks like Benton Styles has been cut.
Lopez's corner calls for a 1-2. Lopez obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
