Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Travis Price! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kim Jonghyun! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Price connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Kim Jonghyun has been cut. Price drives through and clinches with Jonghyun against the cage.
Jonghyun tries to land knees in the clinch but Price avoids the damage to the body. Price has hold of one of Jonghyun's legs. Jonghyun is fighting the takedown attempt but Price gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Price throwing strikes from guard but Jonghyun blocks nicely. Price is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jonghyun is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jonghyun has escaped and now he's on top! Jonghyun is pushing down on Price's leg trying to pass to half guard. Price is fighting to maintain full guard but Jonghyun has managed to sneak the leg through. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Price trying to control from the bottom.
Price is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Price is staying active underneath Jonghyun, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Price moves into full guard.
Jonghyun trying to control but Price is working from the bottom. Price throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Price trying to keep a closed guard but Jonghyun is proving a slippery customer.
Price wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Price trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Price trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Price pulls Jonghyun in close to his closed guard and prevents Jonghyun from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Travis Price. Price moves into range and clinches up with Jonghyun. Jonghyun tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Price avoids it. Price has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jonghyun clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jonghyun fending off the submission attempt from Price. Price throws a series of strikes and Jonghyun wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jonghyun is bucking up trying to escape but Price cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Jonghyun blocking the ground and pound. Price misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Price lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jonghyun hang on? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jonghyun holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Price tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jonghyun can't escape the position.
Jonghyun avoids a strike by Price and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Price's guard! Fantastic escape!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Price controlling the position. Price had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jonghyun defends it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Price dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kim Jonghyun's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jonghyun connects with a nice looking jab.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Price. Travis Price is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A looping hook to the body misses from Price. Jonghyun does a little dance to reset his feet. Price scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Price sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jonghyun is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Price cracks Jonghyun with a big elbow. Price is looking to take a break and control but Jonghyun is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Price tries to score with some ground and pound. Jonghyun controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Price is trying to ground and pound but Jonghyun uses the momentary lack of control by Price to regain half guard. Price is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jonghyun! Price is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jonghyun has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jonghyun! Jonghyun trying to control but Price is working from the bottom.

Price is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jonghyun is aware though and is defending well. Jonghyun won't allow Price to sweep him here. Price has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jonghyun can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jonghyun passes into half guard. Price is trying to maintain the position but Jonghyun is very close to passing his half guard. Travis Price overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Price makes his way to full guard, as Jonghyun worked for a kimura.
Price manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Price looking to ground and pound but Jonghyun is blocking nicely. Price postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jonghyun looks a forlorn figure.
Price thowing shots but they're missing. Jonghyun working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Price lands a nice shot to the head. Jonghyun blocking the ground and pound. Price landing shots from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Price cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Price takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Price is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jonghyun can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Price looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Price looking to control but Jonghyun is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Price dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Kim Jonghyun's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Price moves into the clinch. Price lands an elbow just above Jonghyun 's eye. Price has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jonghyun is trying to keep an underhook but Price manages to get the takedown into half guard. Price is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jonghyun defends it well. Price takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Price thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Jonghyun to regain full guard. Jonghyun keeping moving, preventing Price from controlling successfully. Price stands and throws Jonghyun's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jonghyun is looking for a sweep. Price tries to score with some ground and pound. Jonghyun controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Price landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Price throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Price is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jonghyun can do to turn this around? Price throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Price is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jonghyun will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Price throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Price is trying to get an arm triangle but Jonghyun is defending well. Price trying to control the position but Jonghyun is working away. Jonghyun manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Jonghyun keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Price keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jonghyun is trying to get back to full guard. Price controlling the action here. Price throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Price thows a huge punch but Jonghyun dodges it nicely.
Price misses with a head shot. Jonghyun uses the momentum to regain guard. Price with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Price stops Jonghyun from standing up. Price trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Price throws a strike but Jonghyun rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kim Jonghyun has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jonghyun pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Price is keeping the position for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Price is on top in guard.
Price postures up and lands a big shot to Jonghyun's brow.
And that's the end of the fight! Travis Price showed his dominance in that final round. Well Price has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
