And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lowich bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lowich works Thomas's body with a nice hook.
Lowich swats away the attempt to clinch by Thomas.
Thomas misses with a jab to the body
letting Lowich counter with a right hand.
Thomas is rocked!
A punch combination from Thomas misses.
Thomas is still on wobbly legs! Can Lowich finish him?

Thomas seems to have recovered his senses.
Thomas moves into the clinch successfully.
Thomas is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Thomas is trying to break the clinch but Lowich has him pressed against the cage.
Thomas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Thomas connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Thomas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lowich.
Lowich tries to clinch but Thomas moves out of range.
Thomas connects with a crisp jab.
Lowich is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thomas throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Oh Lowich is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thomas misses with a right hand
and Lowich holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Thomas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lowich walks straight into a right hand from Thomas - that's dropped him! Thomas jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Lowich from any more punishment! Lowich complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Clarence Thomas!
