Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hoelie Gan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryu Hayabusa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hoelie Gan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryu Hayabusa! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gan swats away the attempt to clinch by Hayabusa. Hayabusa misses with a left hand letting Gan counter with a right hand. Hayabusa pushes Gan up against the cage in a clinch. Gan managing to block the knees to the body from Hayabusa.
Hayabusa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. No joy there for Hayabusa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hayabusa cracks Gan with a right hand to the side of the head. A combination from Hayabusa does no damage. Gan avoids the body shot from Hayabusa.
Hayabusa throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Hayabusa misses with a right hand and Gan counters with a left to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hayabusa connects with a right hand. Gan shakes it off. Gan tries to keep at a distance but Hayabusa has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gan blocks an elbow strike from Hayabusa.
Hayabusa throws an elbow but it misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hayabusa just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gan's brow. Hayabusa lands with a light punch inside. A short left from Hayabusa. Hayabusa lands an elbow inside that Gan shrugs off.
Gan is rocked!
It looks like Hoelie Gan has been cut. Hayabusa lands an elbow inside. Oh Gan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hayabusa is pressed up against the cage. Gan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hayabusa down to the mat. Hayabusa avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Gan seems to have got his legs back now. Gan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hayabusa's waist but Hayabusa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gan off to one side. Hayabusa takes a swing at Gan's ribcage but misses. Hayabusa with a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa looks to throw the jab but Gan is out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hayabusa ducks under a wild hook from Gan. Ryu Hayabusa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hayabusa takes the fight into the clinch. Hayabusa throws an elbow but it misses.
Gan takes an elbow to the forehead. Gan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hayabusa pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hoelie Gan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hayabusa manages to break the clinch.
Hayabusa misses with a double jab
and Gan counters with a nice double leg into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Gan looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gan trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Hayabusa manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Hayabusa avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gan throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Gan pulls Hayabusa in to control the position. Gan looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hayabusa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gan looking to control.
Gan trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Gan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hayabusa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hayabusa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gan thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryu Hayabusa dominated that round. The cut man is working on Hoelie Gan's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gan dives in and scores a takedown into Hayabusa's guard. Gan sitting in guard here, content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gan trying to control but Hayabusa is working from the bottom. Gan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gan is looking to advance position but Hayabusa has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Gan tries to hold on but Hayabusa pushes him away. Hayabusa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gan is looking to get to half guard. Hayabusa controlling from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gan tries to hold on but Hayabusa postures up. Gan is desperately trying to improve his position but Hayabusa has a good base and remains in mount. Gan throwing hammer fists to the chest of Hayabusa. What's that going to do exactly? Hoelie Gan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hayabusa prevents Gan from getting the reversal. Gan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gan tries to lock up and control but Hayabusa gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hayabusa gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Hayabusa is looking to clinch. Hayabusa clinches. Hayabusa pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Hayabusa prevents the takedown attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gan wants a takedown but no success here.

Hayabusa gets control of Gan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hayabusa will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gan wants to control from the top but Hayabusa keeps moving. Gan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gan wants to control from the top but Hayabusa keeps moving. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
We're going to have a standup here because Hoelie Gan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Gan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hayabusa. Hayabusa fails to land with a series of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa tries to clinch up. Gan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Gan with a lazy takedown attempt and Hayabusa counters with a left and a right... And another left! Gan is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryu Hayabusa! Our winner, Ryu Hayabusa, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
