Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Reid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, tyson Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid with a lazy takedown attempt
and Griffin counters with a straight right hand.
Griffin lands a jab.
Griffin scores with the left hand. Reid knows he should have avoided that one.
Griffin throws a body punch but Reid moves out of range.
Griffin misses the shot to the body.
Reid slips a jab from Griffin.
Reid thows a left - swing and a miss!
Reid tries for a takedown but Griffin circles away easily
and Griffin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Griffin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Reid has time to react.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Reid walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Reid is rocked!
Reid misses with a series of wild punches.
Oh Reid is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Griffin drops Reid with a big left hand! Reid is injured, injured bad! Griffin jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
