The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tobiasz leaves Hardy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tobiasz goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Hardy drives through with a takedown into Tobiasz's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hardy controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Martin Tobiasz was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Tobiasz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hardy defends it nicely.
Tobiasz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hardy is fending him off so far but Tobiasz persists. Nope, Hardy circles away and we're back to standing.
Jason Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hardy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hardy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hardy pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hardy fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Hardy wants to finish this one by submission but Tobiasz is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hardy.
Tobiasz is looking to improve his position but Hardy isn't that keen on the idea.
Hardy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hardy postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tobiasz looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hardy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tobiasz tries to lock up and control but Hardy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Hardy is landing with some decent strikes but Tobiasz is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Tobiasz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hardy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hardy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
