4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sho Shinjo! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shinjo throws a big shot that misses. Chuteboxe with a lazy takedown attempt and Shinjo counters with a series of strikes. Chuteboxe will be more careful next time no doubt. Nice sprawl there from Shinjo as Chuteboxe shoots in. Shinjo lands with a thumping leg kick.
A right-left combo lands from Shinjo. Shinjo has closed the distance and engaged Chuteboxe in a clinch.
Shinjo working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A short right from Shinjo. Shinjo presses Chuteboxe against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Chuteboxe has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Shinjo after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cacareco Chuteboxe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chuteboxe is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Shinjo pulls him back up using the underhooks. Chuteboxe goes for a takedown in the clinch but Shinjo prevents it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Shinjo lands a right hand. Shinjo lands a left hand.
Chuteboxe is trying to drag Shinjo to the mat but Shinjo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A short uppercut from Shinjo. Shinjo lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Chuteboxe backwards. Shinjo lands with a short head shot on the inside. A short right hand to the side of the head by Shinjo. Shinjo cracks Chuteboxe with a nice body shot. Chuteboxe has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Shinjo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Chuteboxe looking for a takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shinjo works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Shinjo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Chuteboxe has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Shinjo is looking to defend but Chuteboxe has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Shinjo! Chuteboxe pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Shinjo taps out and this one is all over!
