The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jennum circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jennum counters with a shoot takedown. MacDonald fights it but they end up in guard.
Jennum passes MacDonald's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Jennum slips a nice elbow through MacDonald's hands, connecting with MacDonald's forehead.
Jennum working the head and body with strikes.
Jennum seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Jennum working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jennum looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Jennum has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Jennum! MacDonald is hurt baaadly! Jennum is firing away with more strikes - MacDonald is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
