The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murunen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Andersen.
Andersen plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Jon Erik Andersen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Andersen misses with a kick to the body.
Murunen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A jab from Murunen finds it's way through Andersen's defenses.
Andersen takes a swing at Murunen's ribcage but misses.
Murunen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Murunen moves out of range of the strikes.
Murunen connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Andersen clobbers Murunen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Murunen is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Andersen misses with a few strikes there.
Andersen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Murunen moves away.
Andersen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Murunen looks gassed!
Murunen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Andersen tries to clinch but Murunen is having none of it.

Murunen is still on wobbly legs! Can Andersen finish him?
Murunen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Murunen seems to have recovered his senses.
Murunen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Andersen.
A chopping leg kick lands by Andersen.

Andersen misses with a hook. Murunen ducked under it nicely.
Andersen is looking to clinch.
Andersen connects with a single shot there.
Andersen throws a low kick, looking for Murunen's leg but Murunen calmly moves out of range.
Murunen slips a jab and a cross from Andersen.
Andersen with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Andersen misses with an attempted mid kick.
Andersen throws a hook but Murunen avoids it easily.
Andersen throws a head kick that misses.
Murunen gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Murunen tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Andersen is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Murunen buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Murunen!! Murunen is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Andersen throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
