Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Canadian Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Random Collective (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Collective's choice of entrance music: Barricade. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Collective clinches.
Collective is pressed up against the cage. Assassin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Collective down to the mat. Collective avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Collective throws a body punch but Assassin moves out of range.
Collective lands a nice hook to Assassin's body. Assassin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Collective throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Collective jabs Assassin right on the nose. Assassin blinks but takes it well.
Assassin fails with a takedown attempt.
Collective thows a body shot but no joy.
Collective rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Assassin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Canadian Assassin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Assassin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Collective was covering up waiting for the punch and Assassin finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Collective can do anything to dispel that myth.
