Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Koji Masunari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiapo Okina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Koji Masunari! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiapo Okina! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masunari avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A punch combination from Masunari misses. Masunari throws a push kick but Okina slaps the foot to one side. Masunari throws a sloppy head kick and Okina moves out of range easily. Masunari misses with a low kick.
Okina instigates a clinch. Okina drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Masunari gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Okina goes for a takedown attempt but Masunari pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Masunari misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Masunari lands a nice shot to the body.
Masunari lands with a hook. Okina tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Okina closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Masunari quickly recovers to half guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. Okina drops back looking for a leg! Masunari is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Masunari manages to kick Okina off! Okina jumps back into Masunari's guard. Okina drops back, looking for a kneebar! Masunari looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Masunari looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Masunari! Masunari wants to control but Okina is keeping him busy. Okina is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Masunari has just dragged him back down to the mat. Masunari wants to lay and pray for a moment but Okina keeps working. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Masunari wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Okina, who protects the arm well. Okina gets back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hiapo Okina dominated that round. That's time! Masunari's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Masunari looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Nice straight punches there by Okina. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Okina. Masunari takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Okina misses with a hook. Masunari ducked under it nicely. Masunari tries to clinch there but Okina circles away.
Koji Masunari is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Masunari lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Okina has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Okina and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Hiapo Okina seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Masunari misses with a looping left. Okina gets the takedown into side control. Okina has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Okina is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Masunari has escaped the position, nice work there. Okina looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hiapo Okina has got the better of the ground game so far. Okina works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

But no, Masunari has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Okina but great work by Masunari. Okina striking from the bottom but nothing landed.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Masunari is looking to take a break and control but Okina is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Okina wants to get back to his feet but Masunari drags him back down. Okina wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Okina is pushing Masunari's head away, looking to escape. Masunari manages to hold on to the position though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Okina misses with a strike from the bottom. Okina tries to strike but it doesn't land. Okina is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Masunari asserts his dominance and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hiapo Okina showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Masunari thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Okina if he has to take too many more of those.

Okina lands a glancing blow to the side of Masunari's head. Masunari slips a straight right by Okina. Okina throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Okina swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Masunari. Masunari throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Okina feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Masunaris jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Masunari chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Okina throws a good cross that connects.
Masunari lands a head kick!
Okina throws out a loose jab but Masunari uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Okina rushes Masunari and presses him up against the cage. Masunari is pressed up against the cage. Okina has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Masunari down to the mat. Masunari avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Masunari throws a chopping leg kick but Okina manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Okina throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Masunari's waist but Masunari gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Okina off to one side. Masunari misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Okina moves into the clinch. Masunari lands a knee to the head.

Masunari is fighting the takedown attempt but Okina gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Okina throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Masunari has his foot on Okina's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Okina works his way back into a safe position though. Masunari avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Okina loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Masunari is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Masunari controlling the position. Masunari wants to sweep here but Okina controlling him for the moment. Okina landing some decent shots from guard. Okina missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Okina in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Okina has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Okina throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Masunari works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Okina postures up in Masunari's guard and throws a big left but Masunari blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Masunari is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Okina makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Masunari trying to keep a closed guard but Okina is proving a slippery customer.
Okina chips away with some ground and pound. Okina drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Okina jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Okina landing with the ground and pound. Okina working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Okina trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Okina is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Masunari is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Masunari has escaped and now he's on top! Masunari decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Okina, up you get!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Okina shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Masunari but Masunari pushes him off and we're back to square one. Koji Masunari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiapo Okina. Okina lands with a cross. Horrible takedown by Okina or perhaps it was just good defense by Masunari which made him look bad. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Masunari gets caught napping as Okina dives in and scores a takedown. Masunari manages to retain guard. Okina thows a big elbow that misses. Masunari is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Masunari passes to side control. Masunari wants to lay and pray for a moment but Okina keeps working.
And that's the end of the fight! Hiapo Okina comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Okina winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
