The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freese misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Belmont.
Freese fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Belmont looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Belmont takes one on the button.

Belmont on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Freese. Freese obviously looking to wear him down.
Belmont takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Freese comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Belmont looks to land a left hand but Freese moved out of range nicely.
Belmont is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That kick from Freese tenderised Belmont's leg. Belmont is trying to keep his angry face on.
Freese feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Belmont's calf.

Freese throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Belmont.
Freese fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Belmont.

Belmont is still on wobbly legs! Can Freese finish him?
Freese fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Belmont to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Belmont looks to clinch but Freese throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Belmont taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Craig Freese is the new welterweight champion!
Craig Freese decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
