Ortiz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Can't Be Touched by Roy Jones Jr. kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Krush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricky Ortiz! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Krush swivels and escapes. Ortiz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Krush sprawls well. Krush wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ortiz gets slowly back to his feet. Ortiz avoids a punch combination nicely.

Krush lands a jab-cross combination. Ortiz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Krush sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Alexander Krush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Ortiz. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ortiz tries to clinch up. A nice combination there by Krush.
Ortiz shoots in looking for a takedown. Krush tries to sprawl out of it but Ortiz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Krush manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ortiz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Krush sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ortiz somewhat. That kick from Krush tenderised Ortiz's leg. Ortiz is trying to keep his angry face on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krush closes the distance and lands a one-two. Krush looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ortiz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Ortiz is rocked! Krush instigates a clinch. Ortiz is still on wobbly legs! Can Krush finish him? Krush dips a shoulder and cracks Ortiz with a mighty uppercut! Ortiz falls back against the cage and Krush unloads with a barrage of strikes! Ortiz is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Krush screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
