Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Travis Train!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crawford misses with a takedown

and Train counters by moving into the clinch.
Crawford tries to pull guard but Train holds him up against the cage and eventually Crawford drops back down to his feet.

Train pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Crawford misses with a takedown attempt - Train sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Crawford. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Train counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Train stands up and beckons Crawford to join him on the feet.

and Train counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Crawford's guard now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Train slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

It looks like Train might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Train content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Train is stalling in the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Travis Train hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Crawford with a lazy takedown attempt

and Train counters with a single leg into guard. Crawford didn't expect that.
Crawford might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Train looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Train advances to half guard.
Crawford is breathing heavily.

Still in half guard, Train seems content to control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Travis Train has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Train pulls Crawford into guard.

Train pulls Crawford in close to prevent any damage.

Train uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Train drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Crawford can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Train controls the pace.
Train works a leg free and moves into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Train seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Crawford wants to get back to full guard but Train has mounted him!
Train in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Crawford knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Train on the ground.
Train with shots to the head and body - Crawford looks very uncomfortable down there.
Train sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Crawford is in a horrible position here. Train smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Train controlling the pace for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Travis Train dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Crawford avoids the body shot from Train.
Crawford shoots for a takedown but Train saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Train moves into the clinch.

Train gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Train is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Train works his way into side control.
Train advances nicely into full mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Train lands a big shot there that rocks Crawford but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Train lands a big elbow.
Train controlling the position easily from mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Train looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Train has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Train tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Train raining down hammerfists from mount.

Train is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Train extends the arm and Crawford is forced to tap!
