Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bob Kamikaze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lito Lapid!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamikaze chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lapid can pounce on him.
Lapid throws a lazy head kick
and Kamikaze counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kamikaze throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lapid looks to clinch
and Kamikaze cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lapid misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kamikaze.
Lapid looks to land a left hand but Kamikaze moved out of range nicely.
Lapid wants to clinch.
Kamikaze circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kamikaze connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lapid lunges at Kamikaze with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kamikaze's hand.
Lapid fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lapid tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lapid takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lapid pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lapid delivers a nice body kick.
Kamikaze keeps the fight on the outside.
Kamikaze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A lazy left from Kamikaze finds it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lapid throws a head kick that misses.

Kamikaze on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lapid. Lapid obviously looking to wear him down.
Lapid darts in trying to clinch
and Kamikaze counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lapid's knee momentarily.
Kamikaze connects with the punch.
Lapid moves out of range of the body kick from Kamikaze.
Lapid moves in looking to clinch but Kamikaze pushes him off.
Lapid misses the jab.
Lapid tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kamikaze manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kamikaze comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lapid walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Lapid throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lapid misses with a kick to the body.
Kamikaze with a jab.
Lapid tries to land a front kick but Kamikaze steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lapid throws a head kick that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lapid throws a wild body kick that Kamikaze sees coming a mile off.
Kamikaze paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lapid is rocked!

Kamikaze ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kamikaze fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Lapid square on the jaw! Damn, Lapid is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
