And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffiths tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gardener sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Griffiths somewhat.
A slapping body kick lands there for Gardener.
Griffiths shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gardener as he jumps to the side.
Gardener is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gardener lands a high kick!
It looks like Richard Griffiths has been cut.
Gardener throws a sloppy head kick and Griffiths moves out of range easily.
Griffiths throws an off balance right hand
letting Gardener counter with a right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Griffiths shoots for a takedown but Gardener saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Griffiths. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Griffiths misses with a takedown attempt
and Gardener counters with a head kick that drops Griffiths to the mat! Griffiths scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Griffiths is rocked!
Griffiths is breathing heavily.
Gardener batters Griffiths with a massive right followed by a huge left! Griffiths is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Gardener lands a final crushing right hand to drop Griffiths to the mat with a gruesome thud! Gardener is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Gabe Gardener!
