Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Alighieri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ong Bak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alighieri's entrance music is Machine Gun by Jimi Hendrix. A fine choice. Bak is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: you've lost that loving feeling. Tristan Alighieri could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ong Bak's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tristan Alighieri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ong Bak! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bak tries to clinch but Alighieri is having none of it. Bak tries to clinch up but Alighieri circles away and keeps his distance. Bak looks to clinch and Alighieri counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bak tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Alighieri counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Bak is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Alighieri shoots in and bounces Bak off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Alighieri postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alighieri throwing strikes from guard but Bak blocks nicely. Bak lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Alighieri! Bak trying to control but Alighieri is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bak controlling the pace for now. Alighieri tries to hold on but Bak pushes him away. Alighieri can't escape the position.
Bak looking to control but Alighieri is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Alighieri tries to reverse the position but Bak maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bak looking to control but Alighieri is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Alighieri tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bak avoids the attempt from Alighieri to control. Bak tries to control but Alighieri wriggling away. Bak is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bak might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Alighieri kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ong Bak hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Bak moves in looking to clinch but Alighieri pushes him off. Bak tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bak tries to clinch but Alighieri moves away and Alighieri counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bak! Alighieri swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bak is now in Alighieri's guard. A big mistake from Alighieri there, giving up the dominant position! Alighieri has a closed guard, preventing Bak from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bak throws a big elbow that misses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bak wanted to stand there but Alighieri had control of the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bak throws an elbow that misses. Alighieri uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bak's guard. Nice move by Alighieri! Alighieri lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tristan Alighieri dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Bak wants to clinch. Bak tries to clinch but fails miserably and Alighieri counters with a takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bak takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Alighieri cracks Bak with an elbow. That is naaassty. Bak is working to avoid the ground and pound but Alighieri connects with a decent elbow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Alighieri lands a nice forearm strike.
Bak is rocked! Bak is trying to control Alighieri's posture but Alighieri avoids it. Bak is still in real trouble! Can Alighieri finish him? Alighieri lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Bak tries to buck Alighieri off but Alighieri is having none of it. Alighieri fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Bak seems to have recovered his senses. Alighieri sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bak is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Alighieri in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Bak looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Alighieri turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tristan Alighieri! As Tristan Alighieri got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I want Marco Marcolini! Last time we fought, he beat me up pretty good...tired me out, and caught me with a head-kick late into the fight. That was embarrassing. I owe him one now. I know I can put on a better fight than that. I want Marco Marcolini. '.
