The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunder drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Dubov is not content to let Thunder control the position.
Dubov can't do much from the bottom here.
Thunder wants to take a breather but Dubov manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Thunder.
Thunder trying to control the position from guard on top but Dubov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thunder wants to pass the guard but Dubov is keeping the position.
Dubov looking for a guillotine here but Thunder defends easily.
Thunder has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Dubov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Thunder doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Dubov is tightening it up a little... Thunder has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Thunder reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Thunder taps out! Nice BJJ there by Dubov!
