Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pete Squall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hriday Kakkar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kakkar has chosen The Call of Ktulu as his entrance music. Pete Squall had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 147.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hriday Kakkar! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Kakkar with that takedown attempt. Kakkar scores with a spinning back kick! Squall scores with a one two! Kakkar had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Squall circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kakkar looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Squall! Squall is breathing heavily. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Squall tries to lock up and control but Kakkar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Kakkar with the ground and pound from mount. Kakkar lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Squall is rocked! Kakkar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Squall is looking to escape. Oh Squall is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The ref calls for Squall to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
