Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Norton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norton comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Transfuzja kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Power! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edward Norton! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norton is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Norton closes the distance and clinches. Power manages to break the clinch.
Power has managed to clinch.
Norton working some nice short punches in the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Norton's face as he tries to break the clinch. Norton is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Power pulls him back up using the underhooks. Power has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Norton turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Norton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Power keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Power tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Norton wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Power wants to control but Norton postures up. Norton takes a little break here. Power wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Norton working away. Power holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Norton is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Power rushes Norton and presses him up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Norton wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Power is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Norton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Norton drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Power gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Norton wants a takedown but no success here.
Max Power has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edward Norton. Power changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Norton fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Power checks a low kick from Norton. Power circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Power tries to close the distance and clinch up but Norton swats him away and circles back towards the center. Edward Norton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Norton defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Power. Power scores with a leg kick.
Norton closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Power did well to prevent Norton getting side control. Norton looks gassed! Power is not content to let Norton control the position. Power controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Power makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Power. Norton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Power. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Norton trying to control but Power is working from the bottom. Power will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Power not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Power striking off his back but it's not causing Norton any problems. Power tries to land a sweep but no joy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Norton wants to control from the top but Power keeps moving. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Power doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Edward Norton will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Power misses with a takedown attempt - Norton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Norton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Power shoots in for a takedown but Norton shows good takedown defense. Norton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Power sprawls well. Power wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Norton gets slowly back to his feet. Norton blocks a head kick by Power.
Norton misses with a few strikes there.
Norton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Power throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Power lands with a kick to the temple. Norton shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Norton is breathing heavily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Norton is defended easily by Power. Max Power has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edward Norton. Power shoots in for a takedown but Norton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Norton tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Norton shoots for a double leg takedown but Power sprawls well. He's pushed Norton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Power moves into the clinch successfully.
Power manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Power wants to stand up but Norton is controlling him. Power keeping moving, preventing Norton from controlling successfully. Norton is fighting to break Power's control of his arms but Power is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Norton stops Power from standing up. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Norton looking to sit in guard and control but Power gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Power trying to control but Norton is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Max Power just wasn't active enough. Power shoots in for a takedown but Norton shows good takedown defense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Norton tries to clinch up. Power scores with a spinning back kick! Power wants to clinch. Power throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Power is defended easily by Norton. Power is looking to clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Power. Power throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Norton sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Norton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Power defends it nicely. Power moves in looking to clinch but Norton pushes him off. Norton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Power's waist but Power gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Norton off to one side. A nice combination there by Power.
Power misses with a takedown attempt - Norton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A solid body kick from Power. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Norton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Power swivels and escapes. Norton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Power was covering up waiting for the punch and Norton finishes the takedown easily into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Norton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Power dominated that second round. That's time! Power's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Norton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Power is in all sorts of trouble here.
Edward Norton has got the better of the ground game so far. Norton wants to control the pace but Power is squirming around nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Power is in all sorts of trouble here.
Norton putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Norton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Norton looking to control and managing it successfully. Power holds of for dear life. Power is wriggling around trying to escape.
Norton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Power is looking to escape. Power really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Power that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Norton avoids the attempt from Power to control. Power bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Power trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
We're going to have a standup here because Max Power wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Norton fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Power shoots in but no luck this time. Max Power is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Norton is defended easily by Power. Power connects with a solid leg kick. Horrible takedown by Power or perhaps it was just good defense by Norton which made him look bad. Norton shoots for a double leg takedown but Power sprawls well. He's pushed Norton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Max Power has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edward Norton. Power tests Norton's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Power fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Norton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Power pinned against the cage. Power gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Power shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Norton defends it nicely. Norton shoots in but Power avoids the takedown attempt easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Power fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Norton, pushing him back against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Max Power. I think Power has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
