The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Terrier enables Garz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Terrier manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Garz throwing strikes but missing.
Garz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Garz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Garz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Garz prevents Terrier from getting back to his feet.
Garz cracks Terrier with a solid left hand.
Garz sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Terrier could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Terrier is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Garz drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Garz as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Terrier screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Garz! Nice submission victory there!
