Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Domingos Savio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastiaan Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savio kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Californication. Hoost has chosen Redemption Song as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoost lands a nice looking body kick. Hoost pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Savio takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Oooooh!!! Hoost has knocked Savio down with a huge combo! Hoost steps away and waves a wobbly Savio back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Domingos Savio has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Savio throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nice body kick from Hoost. Savio misses with a straight right. Hoost lands a big head kick that sends Savio tumbling to the mat! Hoost takes a step backwards and waves Savio back to his feet - he wants the finish! Oh Savio is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hoost lands a front kick. Savio seems to have got his legs back now. Savio lands a jab to the head.
Hoost fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Savio sprawls well initially but Hoost persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Hoost is trying to work for a kimura but Savio is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hoost passes to side control. Savio is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hoost asserts his dominance and retains side control. Hoost happy to just control the position for now. Hoost has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hoost has knee on belly and moves into mount. Savio defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hoost. Hoost looking for a guillotine from mount but Savio is having none of it. Savio squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Hoost has control of Savio's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Savio regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Savio really wants to buck Hoost off and get back to his feet. Hoost working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Hoost tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Savio has his hands clasped together but Hoost breaks the hold and Savio is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Hoost!
