Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Lockwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulohot Yokohama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lockwood comes to the cage accompanied by Coma by Overkill. Yokohama has chosen Metallica - All Nightmare Long as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yokohama on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Yokohama lands with a thumping leg kick.
Yokohama tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lockwood paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lockwood with a nice cross.
Yokohama throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Yokohama throws a jab when Lockwood was well out of range.
Yokohama cracks the inside of Lockwood's front leg.
Lockwood lands a slapping body shot.
Yokohama lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Lockwood throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Lockwood lands a really nice looking cross but Yokohama seems unphased.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Yokohama is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lockwood sees it coming and defends easily.
Yokohama working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Lockwood's thigh. Lockwood counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Yokohama slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Lockwood wants to sweep but no luck.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Hulohot Yokohama wasn't active enough on the ground.
Lockwood throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Yokohama counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Yokohama seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lockwood does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Yokohama connects with a nice short shot to Lockwood's temple.
Yokohama wants to pass to mount but Lockwood is defending the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lockwood on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lockwood has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Yokohama.
Yokohama is looking to clinch but Lockwood is avoiding it.
A punch lands to the side of Yokohama 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lockwood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yokohama moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Yokohama dives in and grabs Lockwood's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lockwood pushes down on Yokohama's head and hops out.
Adam Lockwood is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Yokohama digs a good hook to Lockwood's body.
Lockwood misses with a series of wild punches.
Lockwood throws an overhand right that lands on Yokohama's shoulder, as Yokohama tries to avoid the shot.
Yokohama closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lockwood to the mat! Lockwood manages to get full guard.
Yokohama wants to control from the top but Lockwood keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yokohama looking to sit in guard and control but Lockwood gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Lockwood passes Yokohama's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Lockwood wants to get back to his feet.
Yokohama tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Lockwood has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lockwood trying to control but Yokohama is having none of it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Adam Lockwood will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lockwood throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Yokohama looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Yokohama connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lockwood momentarily.
Yokohama throws a low kick but Lockwood moves out of range easily.
Yokohama connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lockwood. Lockwood circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lockwood fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yokohama scores with a takedown into Lockwood's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lockwood is on top in guard.

Oooooh!!! Lockwood has knocked Yokohama down with a huge combo! Lockwood steps away and waves a wobbly Yokohama back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

and Lockwood counters with a good, hard body kick but Yokohama shrugs it off.
Lockwood fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Yokohama to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Yokohama looks to clinch but Lockwood throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Yokohama taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
