Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nacho Ruiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Blank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruiz comes to the cage accompanied by Perfect Smile - Petalos de Rosa. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nacho Ruiz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Billy Blank!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blank misses with a two punch combination.
Ruiz throws a hook to the side of Blank's head but Blank sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Blank avoids the body shot from Ruiz.
Blank takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ruiz scores with a jab.

It looks like Billy Blank has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ruiz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blank moves away.
Ruiz misses with a straight left.
Blank moves out of range of the strikes.
Ruiz shoots in but no luck this time.
Ruiz scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ruiz missing with a left hand there. Blank was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ruiz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Left hook, right uppercut from Blank.
Ruiz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Blank manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Blank darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ruiz throws a jab when Blank was well out of range.
Ruiz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blank manages to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ruiz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Blank looks gassed!
Ruiz misses the shot to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ruiz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ruiz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Blank stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blank keeps the fight on the outside.
Ruiz cracks Blank on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Blank falls backwards against the cage. Ruiz follows up with more strikes that drop Blank to his knees. Ruiz keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Blank! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nacho Ruiz!
In his post fight interview, Nacho Ruiz started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
