Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between BJ Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little Jimmy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy has chosen The Truth Shall Set You Free - Silence as his entrance music. Little Jimmy will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, BJ Walters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Little Jimmy! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jimmy is looking to clinch but Walters is avoiding it.
Jimmy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walters swats him away and circles back towards the center. Walters throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jimmy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Walters is in Jimmy's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Jimmy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Walters seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walters seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jimmy for as long as he can get away with. Walters stands up from Jimmy's guard - Walters perhaps looking for a knockout. Jimmy is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Walters shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Walters controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jimmy tries to reverse the position but Walters maintains control. Walters controlling the pace for now. Jimmy is trying desperately to improve position. Walters content just to control the position here. Walters lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Walters misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walters controlling from the full mount. Jimmy blocking the ground and pound. Walters looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walters lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jimmy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Walters pulls his head out easily. Jimmy is looking to control Walters's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jimmy avoid being mounted? Walters decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Walters shoots in for a takedown but Jimmy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jimmy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jimmy.
It looks like BJ Walters has been cut. BJ Walters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walters swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A chopping leg kick lands by Jimmy. Jimmy punishes Walters's body with a nice straight punch. Walters is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Walters closes the distance and pushes Jimmy back into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walters prevents Jimmy from breaking the clinch. Jimmy is looking for a takedown. Jimmy is trying to force a seperation but Walters has the dominant position. Jimmy is trying to drag Walters to the mat but Walters just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Jimmy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Walters is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. BJ Walters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Little Jimmy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jimmy digs a right hand into Walters's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Walters's gas tank. Jimmy decides to pull guard. Jimmy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Walters is one step ahead there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that BJ Walters will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on BJ Walters's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Nice takedown defense from Walters. No joy for Jimmy on that attempt. Jimmy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walters swivels and escapes. Walters looking to score a takedown here. Jimmy is defending well but Walters drives through and ends up in Jimmy's guard. Walters wants to pass the guard but Jimmy is keeping the position. Jimmy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Walters! Walters holds of for dear life. Walters is squirming around, avoiding Jimmy's attempts to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walters tries to hold on but Jimmy pushes him away. Walters is trying to escape the mount.
Jimmy moves to the back position. Jimmy seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Walters's chin but Walters turns very nicely into Jimmy's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Walters.
Walters postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walters drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Walters jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jimmy is pulling down on Walters's head to control his posture. Jimmy has a loose triangle. That's three minutes gone in the round. Walters scores a takedown into full mount! Walters takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jimmy is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walters controlling from mount. Walters is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jimmy has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Walters shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jimmy napping and manages to drive through into side control! Jimmy is trying to control Walters's posture but Walters avoids it. Walters creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jimmy sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Jimmy wants to control but Walters postures up. Jimmy might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Walters kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Walters postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Walters is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jimmy has escaped the position, nice work there. Jimmy is trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walters slows the pace down. Jimmy sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Jimmy is trying to get back to full guard. Well, if Walters is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up because BJ Walters just wasn't active enough. Walters shoots in looking for a takedown. Jimmy tries to sprawl out of it but Walters keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jimmy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jimmy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walters swivels and escapes. Jimmy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Walters manages to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walters scores a takedown into full mount! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Walters controlling the position easily from mount. BJ Walters overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jimmy regains half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Jimmy manages to regain full guard. Nice work. BJ Walters is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Walters might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Walters sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jimmy keeping full guard, as Walters tries to pass.

Jimmy is working an open guard so Walters takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jimmy is defended easily by Walters. Walters shoots in looking for a takedown but Jimmy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Walters's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jimmy fails with a takedown attempt. Little Jimmy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! BJ Walters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Little Jimmy. Walters fails to land the takedown.
And that's the end of the fight! BJ Walters showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Walters, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
