Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Demarcus Ware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Nixan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ware comes to the cage accompanied by Put on. Nixan has chosen thats why as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Demarcus Ware!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Nixan!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nixan with a poor takedown
and Ware counters with a shoot takedown. Nixan fights it but they end up in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Ware trying to control but Nixan is working from the bottom.
Ware sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nixan's guard.
Ware looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Well, if Ware is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Ware is trying to control the action in half guard but Nixan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ware is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nixan sees it coming and defends easily.
Ware not doing much here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ware wants to work for an arm triangle but Nixan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Nixan wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nixan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Ware is pressing down on Nixan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Nixan is holding on for now.
Ware is working hard here to advance position.
Nixan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ware. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ware postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Nixan to stand up.
Ware swats away the attempt to clinch by Nixan.
Ware misses with a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ware throws a sloppy head kick and Nixan moves out of range easily.
Ware tries a head kick but it misses.
Ware swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nixan counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Nixan tries to clinch up.
Ware shoots in looking for a takedown but Nixan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ware's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nixan has his takedown stuffed
so Ware counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ware is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Nixan wants to get back to full guard but Ware has mounted him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ware working for a guillotine from mount but Nixan is in no mood to give up.
Ware moves to back control.
Ware looking to break Nixan's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Nixan remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ware will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ware is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Nixan taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Ware.
