The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lero shoots and misses
and Palermo counters with a one-two to the body.
Palermo throws a nice looking combination but Lero bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Palermo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lero is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Palermo.
Lero shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Palermo counters with a nice right hand that sends Lero toppling to the canvas! Lero scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Palermo finish him?!
Lero is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vinny Palermo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Taz Lero.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Palermo moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Lero! Palermo continues to tee off on Lero, landing with a left and a right! Palermo connects with a right hand that leaves Lero sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Palermo!

Post fight, Vinny Palermo took to the microphone: 'I think I'm ready for better talent. I want Geese Howard or Pablo Sir. I want my next fight to be one that people will remember for being entertaining and I want there to be fireworks.'.
