Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Bustamante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lightning Fastt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bustamante comes to the cage accompanied by Cryin' like a Bitch. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fastt throws a head kick that misses.
Fastt throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Bustamante shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bustamante showed some decent athleticism there.
Fastt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bustamante is working away from the top position though.
Fastt wants to get back to his feet.
Bustamante throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bustamante is trying to control. Fastt wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Bustamante stops Fastt from getting back to his feet.
Bustamante trying to control from half guard but Fastt is working away.
Fastt is trying to stand up here but Bustamante is controlling him well.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Fastt slips a jab and a cross from Bustamante.
Bustamante avoids the head kick by Fastt.
Fastt throws a quick inside leg kick.

Bustamante just misses with a punch to the body.
Bustamante changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fastt tries to avoid it but Bustamante manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fastt to the ground. Fastt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lightning Fastt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bustamante shoots in looking for a takedown but Fastt manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bustamante's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fastt throws a lazy head kick
and Bustamante decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fastt's guard.

Fastt wants to stand but Bustamante is controlling the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bustamante wants to control from the top but Fastt keeps moving.
Fastt has momentary wrist control but Bustamante slips an elbow through the middle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bustamante lands a couple of elbows.
Fastt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bustamante is one step ahead there.
Bustamante pushes down on Fastt's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Fastt is trying to maintain the position but Bustamante is very close to passing his half guard.

Bustamante wants to control but Fastt is keeping him busy.
Bustamante stalling away here and it's allowed Fastt to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Fastt looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Fastt wants to stand up but Bustamante is controlling him.
Fastt throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bustamante uses it to pass to side control.
Bustamante has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fastt looks gassed!
Bustamante wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fastt keeps working.
Fastt tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Fastt is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bustamante lands a big shot there that rocks Fastt but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Fastt is rocked!
Bustamante postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Fastt in real trouble here! The ref calls for Fastt to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wanderlei Bustamante!
