The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nortick gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Miller decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nortick's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Miller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nortick is keeping the position for now. Nortick keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller tries to free his leg and advance position but Nortick is retaining full guard. Miller cracks Nortick with a solid left hand. Miller engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Miller is in close to Nortick's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nortick has momentary wrist control but Miller slips an elbow through the middle. Nortick working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Miller is pushing down on Nortick's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nortick is fighting to maintain full guard but Miller has managed to sneak the leg through. Miller lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nortick doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Miller. Miller drops an elbow to the side of Nortick's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Miller working Nortick over with strikes. Miller perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Miller lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Miller landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Miller throwing shots but Nortick is blocking nicely. Nortick is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller works his foot free and advances to mount. Miller is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nortick can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller controlling his opponent. Miller with good strikes from the mount here! Nortick tries to hold on but Miller postures up. Miller putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Miller working away from the top, dropping strikes. Oh Nortick is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Miller controlling from mount. Nortick seems to have got his legs back now. Miller lands a big shot there that rocks Nortick but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Miller with good strikes from the mount here! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Miller fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Andrew Miller dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Miller drives through with a takedown into guard. Miller missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Miller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Miller is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Miller is looking to work some ground and pound but Nortick has wrist control. Miller controlling from the top position. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Nortick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Miller passes easily into side control. Nice work. Miller in side control, just content to control the action for now. Let's hope that Miller has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Miller has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Miller scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Nortick to see if he's OK.

Miller works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miller is chipping away with strikes.

Miller working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Nortick is trying to escape the position but Miller is controlling the position. Andrew Miller has got the better of the ground game so far. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nortick takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miller taking a breather here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Nortick's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Miller cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Miller looking to finish Nortick with some ground and pound. This is bad for Nortick! Miller is landing with some decent strikes but Nortick is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Miller controlling the position easily from mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Oooooh, big shot lands for Miller! Nortick is hurt baaadly! Miller is firing away with more strikes - Nortick is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
