Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Vilkastus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekka Routalempi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikko Vilkastus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pekka Routalempi!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Routalempi closes the distance and pushes Vilkastus back into the cage.
Routalempi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Routalempi throws a head kick that misses.
Vilkastus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Routalempi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vilkastus somewhat.
Routalempi lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Mikko Vilkastus has been cut.
Routalempi moves into the clinch.
Vilkastus blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Routalempi successfully pulls guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Routalempi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vilkastus is aware though and is defending well.

Routalempi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vilkastus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Vilkastus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vilkastus passes Routalempi's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Vilkastus is trying to control. Routalempi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Vilkastus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Routalempi is just riding it out for now. Vilkastus eventually gives up the hold.
Vilkastus in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Routalempi tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Vilkastus!
