Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nate Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcus Lioncourte!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lioncourte scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cruz doesn't seem bothered though.
Lioncourte throws a good cross that connects.
Cruz gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Cruz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Cruz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Cruz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Cruz moves into full mount! Lioncourte won't be happy about that!
Lioncourte takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Lioncourte is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lioncourte really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cruz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cruz has control of Lioncourte's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lioncourte regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cruz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Cruz breaks from Lioncourte's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Cruz is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lioncourte can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Cruz looking to control but Lioncourte is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Cruz misses with a head shot.
Cruz lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Cruz working for a submission but Lioncourte is keeping him at bay.
Cruz throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Lioncourte because Cruz loaded up on that one.
Cruz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lioncourte wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Cruz.
Cruz looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Cruz lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nate Cruz dominated that round.
That's time! Cruz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lioncourte jabs Cruz right on the nose. Cruz blinks but takes it well.
Lioncourte throws a sloppy head kick and Cruz moves out of range easily.

Cruz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Cruz dives in and grabs Lioncourte's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lioncourte pushes down on Cruz's head and hops out.
Cruz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nate Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cruz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lioncourte scores with a jab to the body.
Cruz tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Cruz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Marcus Lioncourte is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lioncourte thumps Cruz with a low kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Cruz misses the target.
Oooooh!!! Lioncourte has knocked Cruz down with a huge combo! Lioncourte steps away and waves a wobbly Cruz back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Cruz is rocked!
It looks like Nate Cruz has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lioncourte dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lioncourte drops Cruz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cruz looks back up at him and smiles so Lioncourte waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Lioncourte batters Cruz with a massive right followed by a huge left! Cruz is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Lioncourte lands a final crushing right hand to drop Cruz to the mat with a gruesome thud! Lioncourte is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Marcus Lioncourte!
