The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hrolf tries to clinch but Chávez is having none of it.

and Chávez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chávez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chávez avoids the head kick by Hrolf .
Chávez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hrolf 's head backwards.
It looks like Tallak Hrolf has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Chávez counters with a stiff right hand.
Chávez comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hrolf looks gassed!

Chávez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hrolf sprawling to the canvas! Hrolf rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Chávez finish him?!
Hrolf is rocked!
Chávez lands a brutal uppercut that launches Hrolf off his feet! Hrolf tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hugo Chávez!
In his post fight interview, Hugo Chávez started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
