Mephistopheles throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Linhaeres.
It looks like Luisao Linhaeres has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mephistopheles lands with a kick to the temple. Linhaeres shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Linhaeres shoots in for a takedown but Mephistopheles shows good takedown defense.

Mephistopheles lands a big head kick that sends Linhaeres tumbling to the mat! Mephistopheles takes a step backwards and waves Linhaeres back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Mephistopheles throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Linhaeres is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
