Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cosme Cosme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erivelton Imperador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cosme Cosme has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cosme is looking to score with low kicks.
Cosme shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Imperador sprawls well. Imperador wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cosme gets slowly back to his feet.
Cosme shoots in but Imperador avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Imperador throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cosme's waist but Cosme gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Imperador off to one side.

Cosme gets caught flat footed, as Imperador shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Cosme is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Imperador keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cosme's head.

Imperador drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cosme dives on top into guard.
Cosme won't allow Imperador to get back to his feet.

Imperador is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Imperador goes for a takedown attempt but Cosme pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Cosme Cosme has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erivelton Imperador.

and Imperador counters with a straight right hand.
Cosme will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Imperador is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Cosme unloads with some shots from mount but Imperador bucks and avoids them well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cosme pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Imperador's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Cosme is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Imperador to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Imperador shrugs it off.
Imperador is still in real trouble! Can Cosme finish him?
Cosme lands a big shot to the head and Imperador winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
