The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Razors Edge shoots for a double leg takedown but Morrison sprawls well. He's pushed The Razors Edge's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Morrison throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The Razors Edge shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Morrison's guard.

Morrison had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. The Razors Edge is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Morrison Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take The Razors Edge's back instead.

The Razors Edge is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Morrison gets his way!

The Razors Edge is having to fend off submission attempts from Morrison, who is looking to sink in the choke. Morrison doesn't have the hooks in though and The Razors Edge manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Morrison escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The Razors Edge gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
