Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake The Powerhouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Wilder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake The Powerhouse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dom Wilder! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Powerhouse bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The Powerhouse thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Wilder tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wilder manages to work his way to half guard, despite The Powerhouse's best efforts. Wilder tries to roll over but The Powerhouse keeps him under control. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with The Powerhouse in particular looking to stall. The Powerhouse wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wilder keeps working. Wilder slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The Powerhouse has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Wilder has a closed guard, preventing The Powerhouse from standing up. Wilder bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in The Powerhouse's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilder is pushing down on The Powerhouse's leg trying to pass to half guard. The Powerhouse is fighting to maintain full guard but Wilder has managed to sneak the leg through. Wilder works his way into full mount! The referee warns The Powerhouse that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Wilder throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for The Powerhouse because Wilder loaded up on that one. The Powerhouse knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilder on the ground. Wilder looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Wilder working for a submission but The Powerhouse is keeping him at bay. Wilder misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Wilder with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Wilder looks gassed! The Powerhouse is desperately trying to improve his position but Wilder has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilder goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now The Powerhouse is on top in guard.
Wilder has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wilder can't keep his opponent in guard - The Powerhouse advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Wilder wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Powerhouse tries to stand and escape but Wilder is controlling the position. Wilder looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Wilder works his way to full guard. Good work. Wilder throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilder throws his legs up looking for a submission but The Powerhouse uses it to pass to side control.
Wilder regains half guard. Wilder is pressing down on The Powerhouse's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Wilder looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The Powerhouse stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilder swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wilder looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The Powerhouse is stalling in the full guard. Wilder preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wilder looking for a sweep. Not yet Wilder, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilder is working an open guard so The Powerhouse takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. The Powerhouse lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wilder's sensitive parts. Wilder gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! The Powerhouse controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Wilder has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but The Powerhouse can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wilder lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for The Powerhouse! Wilder takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wilder is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. The Powerhouse has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Wilder has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! The Powerhouse taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Wilder doesn't care though - he's delighted!
