Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Bader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and That Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bader comes to the cage accompanied by This Is War. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ken Bader!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, That Guy!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy shoots for a takedown but Bader saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Guy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Guy wants to pass the guard but Bader is defending well.

Guy is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bader is looking to control Guy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bader avoid being mounted?

Bader actively working from the bottom here.

Guy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Guy is looking to take a break and control but Bader is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bader won't allow Guy to pass to mount.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Guy is trying to control. Bader wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Guy passes into side control, despite Bader's attempt to control the position.
Guy tries to score with some ground and pound. Bader controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Bader is not content to let Guy control the position.

Guy tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Bader tries to buck Guy off but Guy is having none of it.

Guy is trying to get an arm triangle but Bader is defending well.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Guy looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bader manages to get back to half guard.
Guy prevents Bader from improving his position.
Bader slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Bader is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bader wants to control but Guy is keeping him busy.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bader passes the guard and advances to mount!

Guy wants to control but Bader is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bader tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Guy is squirming around, avoiding Bader's attempts to control the action.
Guy is looking to improve his position but Bader isn't that keen on the idea.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bader takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ken Bader will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


A combination from Guy does no damage.
A nice combination there by Bader.


It looks like That Guy has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Guy fails with a takedown attempt.
Bader punishes Guy's body with a nice straight punch.

Bader cracks Guy with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Guy looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bader finish him?


Guy is rocked!
Bader cracks Guy's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Guy slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Bader can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ken Bader!
Our winner, Ken Bader, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
