Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sebastien Chabal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Bader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sebastien Chabal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryan Bader ! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chabal throws a nice looking combination but Bader bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Chabal tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bader paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bader avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Chabal throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bader counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Chabal blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bader . Bader wants to pass to mount but Chabal is defending the position. Bader thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chabal's head. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bader is keen to just control but Chabal is a slippery customer. Bader not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bader not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bader thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chabal's head. Bader throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bader not landing any meaningful shots this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bader looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bader wants to pass to mount but Chabal is defending the position.

Chabal avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bader . Bader thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chabal's head. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bader lands a nice short elbow. Bader decides to return to a standing position. Chabal lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bader circles away quickly and effectively. Chabal is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bader gets a takedown into half guard. Bader looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Bader wants to take a breather but Chabal is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bader not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bader is nestled in close to Chabal, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Bader is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Chabal! Bader controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bader postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Chabal looks a forlorn figure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bader unloading with bombs! Bader unloading with bombs! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bader misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Ryan Bader dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Bader counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Chabal! Chabal takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Bader 's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
