Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Bator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Bator! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenny Smith! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bator pinned against the cage. Bator gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bator shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Smith counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Bator wants to get back to his feet.
Bator is not content to let Smith control the position. Smith has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Smith is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Bator thows a leg kick but Smith checks it and Smith counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bator wants to control but Smith is keeping busy and won't allow it. Smith trying to control the action but Bator is working from the bottom. Smith is working for a submission of some sort.
Smith looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Bator manages to regain half guard. Good work. Bator moves into full guard.
Bator looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Smith thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Smith throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bator looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Smith drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bator manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Smith has Bator in his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they both work up against the meshing. Bator trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Smith tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bator trying to control but Smith is working from the bottom. Smith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bator doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bator manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bator wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving. Smith is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bator has his hands clasped together but Smith extends an breaks Bator's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Smith.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kenny Smith!
